Organisation Support and Development

Central to the delivery of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board’s services is the Organisation Support and Development Division that plays a critical role in the delivery of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board’s non-learning services.

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board’s administrative centres are located at its head office in Monaghan and its sub-office in Cavan, both of which play a critical role in allowing Educators and Trainers to focus on the delivery of direct educational services to students throughout the northwest region.

This division of services ensures that all stakeholders/students have a high-quality learning experience and that Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board remains innovative, reactive and to the forefront of Education and Training Provision.

The administrative centres provide a full range of services and supports which are delivered under three key pillars, comprising

  1. Human Resources,
  2. Finance and,
  3. Corporate Services, which also includes Land and Buildings, Compliance, Procurement and IT.

A key function of the Organisation Support and Development Division is to ensure the organisation applies best practice in relation to Corporate Governance and fulfils its requirements under the extensive range of legislation that impact on the organisation.  The Organisation Support and Development Division works in close collaboration with the Director of Schools and the Director of Further Education and Training, to ensure that the very best supports are provided to our Institutes, Schools and Centres. This structure enables clear areas of responsibility and ensures clarity in terms of accountability and reporting relationships.
